🌻생명의 향기 | 선물은 허락 가운데 있다🌻 기도와 신앙은 밀접히 관련된 것으로 이 둘을 함께 연구할 필요가 있다. 믿음으로 하는 기도 가운데에는 하늘로부터 오는 학문이 있다. 인생의 활동에 성공하려고 하는 사람은 누구나 이 학문을 이해하여야 한다. 그리스도께서는 “무엇이든지 기도하고 구하는 것은 받은 줄로 믿으라 그리하면 너희에게 그대로 되리라”(막 11:24) 하셨다. 그리스도께서는 우리의 기도가 하나님의 뜻에 맞도록 되어야 할 것을 명백히 하셨는 바 우리는 반드시 하나님의 허락하신 바를 구하고 또한 무엇이나 받을 때에는 그것을 하나님의 뜻대로 써야 하는 것이다. 그 조건들이 충족될 때 허락하신 바를 틀림없이 주실 것이다. 우리는 죄사함을 위하여 성령을 받고자, 그리스도와 같은 성질을 받고자, 하나님의 일을 위한 지혜와 힘을 얻고자, 그 밖에 하나님의 허락하신 모든 선물을 받고자 간구할 수 있다. 동시에 우리는 받은 줄로 믿을 것이요, 또 받은 것을 인하여 감사하여야 한다. 우리는 축복의 외면적 증거를 찾을 필요가 없다. 선물은 허락 가운데 있는 것이니, 우리는 하나님께서 허락하신 것은 그가 수행하실 것으로 확신하고 이미 받은 선물은 그것이 가장 필요할 때에 실현될 것이라는 확신을 가지고 우리의 일에 나아갈 것이다. ― 청년에게 보내는 기별, 252. 🌻Aroma of Life | The Gift is in the Promise🌻 Prayer and faith are closely allied, and they need to be studied together. In the prayer of faith there is a divine science; it is a science that every one who would make his life work a success must understand. Christ says, “I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24) He makes it plain that our asking must be according to God's will; we must ask for the things that He has promised, and whatever we receive must be used in doing His will. The conditions met, the promise is unequivocal.  For the pardon of sin, for the Holy Spirit, for a Christlike temper, for wisdom and strength to do His work, for any gift He has promised, we may ask; then we are to believe that we receive, and return thanks to God that we have received.  We need look for no outward evidence of the blessing. The gift is in the promise, and we may go about our work assured that what God has promised He is able to perform, and that the gift, which we already possess, will be realized when we need it most. — Messages to Young People, 252.
