🌻|생명의 향기| 심령 가운데 있는 거룩한 원한🌻

“내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게 하고 너의 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고” (창 3:15). 

아담과 하와는 죄수로서 하나님 앞에 서서, 범죄가 초래한 선고를 기다렸다. 그러나 그들의 운명이 될 수밖에 없는 가시와 엉겅퀴, 수고와 슬픔의 생활, 그리고 흙으로 돌아가야 한다는 선고를 듣기 전에 그들은 그들에게 희망을 주지 않을 수 없었던 말씀들을 들었다. 저희가 비록…고통을 받을 수 밖에 없지만, 그들은 최후의 승리를 기대할 수 있었다. 

사람의 마음속에 사탄에 대한 증오심을 일으키는 것은 그리스도께서 영혼속에 주입시키시는 은혜이다.
이 은혜가 없이는 사람은 사탄의 포로 곧 그의 명령대로 행하고자 언제나 준비하고 있는 종이 될 것이다. 심령 속에 있는 그 새로운 원칙은 지금까지 화평스럽던 곳에 싸움을 일으킨다.

그리스도께서 주시는 권능은 사람으로 폭군이요 횡령자인 그를 능히 대적할 수 있게 한다. 누구든지 죄를 사랑하는 대신에 미워하고 마음을 지배하고 있는 정욕을 저항하고 정복하면 전적으로 하늘에서 온 원칙이 역사하고 있는 것이다.

성령께서 끊임없이 인간에게 부어져야 한다. 그렇지 아니하면 그는 흑암의 세력과 싸울 아무런 의향도 갖지않게 된다 

그리스도께서 인간과 뱀 사이에 두신 원한을 받아들이지 않겠는가?… 우리는 내가 예수 그리스도의 능력으로 정복자가 되겠다고 말할 권리를 갖고 있다

🌻|Aroma of Life| Divine Enmity in the Soul🌻

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15. 

Adam and Eve stood as criminals before their God, awaiting the sentence which transgression had incurred. But before they hear of the thorn and the thistle, the sorrow and anguish which should be their portion, and the dust to which they should return, they listen to words which must have inspired them with hope.
Though they must suffer ... , they might look forward to ultimate victory. 

It is the grace that Christ implants in the soul that creates the enmity against Satan. Without this grace, man would continue the captive of Satan, a servant ever ready to do his bidding. The new principle in the soul creates conflict where hitherto had been peace.

The power which Christ imparts, enables man to resist the tyrant and usurper. Whenever a man is seen to abhor sin instead of loving it, when he resists and conquers those passions that have held sway within, there is seen the operation of a principle wholly from above.

The Holy Spirit must be constantly imparted to man, or he has no disposition to contend against the powers of darkness. 

Shall we not accept the enmity which Christ has placed between man and the serpent? ... We have a right to say, In the strength of Jesus Christ I will be a conqueror.
