세상에 전하는 마지막 복음으로 세천사의 기별을 보내신 하나님  “보라 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 선지 엘리야를 너희에게 보내리니” (말 4:5) 하나님께서는 당신의 백성이라고 공언하는 많은 사람들이 영원을 위하여 준비하지 않은 것을 보시고 자비를 베푸셔서 무감각 상태에서 그들을 깨워 주님의 오심에 대비하도록 그들을 인도하기 위해서 경고의 기별을 보내시려 하셨다. 이 경고의 기별은 계시록 14장에 나타나 있다. 여기에는 세 천사가 선포하는 삼중 기별이 나타나는데 그 뒤를 곧 이어 “땅의 익은 곡식을” 거두어 들이시기 위해 인자가 오신다. 그 천사들은 하늘 한 가운데를 날으면서 세상에 경고의 기별을 선포하고 이 세상 역사의 마지막 시대에 살고 있는 사람들에게 전할 영원한 복음을 가진 것으로 나타나 있다. 그러나 아무도 이 천사들의 음성은 들을 수 없다. 왜냐하면 그들은 하늘 거민들과 조화를 이루어 일하고 있는 하나님의 백성들을 나타내기 위한 상징이기 때문이다. 계시록에서 요한은 “이 일 후에 다른 천사가 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보니 큰 권세를 가졌는데 그의 영광으로 땅이 환하여 지더라”(계 18:1)고 기록하였다. 이것은 최종적인 삼중 경고의 기별을 세상에 전하는 것을 나타낸다. 계시록 18장에는 동 14장 6절-12절의 3중의 경고를 거절한 결과로 교회가 마침내 둘째 천사의 예고한 상태에 빠지게 되고 아직도 그 바벨론 가운데 남아 있는 하나님의 백성을 향하여 어서 그 가운데서 나오라는 명령이 발하여질 그 시기가 지시되어 있다. 이 기별은 이 세상에 전하게 될 최후의 기별이요 또한 그 사업은 이로서 마쳐질 것이다. “진리를 믿지 않고 불의를 좋아하는 모든 자들”이 강력한 기만을 받아들여 거짓을 믿도록 방임되는 때에 진리의 빛은 이를 받고자 마음을 열고있는 자들을 비추게 되어 바벨론 가운데 있는 모든 하나님의 자녀들이 “내 백성아 곧 거기서 나”(계 18:4)오라는 부르심에 주의하게 될 것이다.  (마라나타 173)

God Has Sent Us the Three Angels' Messages as the Last Gospel to the World ㅡ  “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.” (Malachi 4:5). God saw that many of His professed people were not building for eternity, and in His mercy He was about to send a message of warning to arouse them from their stupor and lead them to make ready for the coming of the Lord. This warning is brought to view in Revelation 14. Here is a threefold message represented as proclaimed by heavenly beings and immediately followed by the coming of the Son of man to reap “the harvest of the earth.” (Revelation 14:15). The angels are represented as flying in the midst of heaven, proclaiming to the world a message of warning, and having a direct bearing upon the people living in the last days of this earth′s history. No one hears the voice of these angels, for they are a symbol to represent the people of God who are working in harmony with the universe of heaven. The three angels′ messages are to be combined, giving their threefold light to the world. In the Revelation, John says, “I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.”(Revelation 18:1)... This represents the giving of the last and threefold message of warning to the world. Revelation 18 points to the time when, as the result of rejecting the threefold warning of Revelation 14:6-12, the church will have fully reached the condition foretold by the second angel, and the people of God still in Babylon will be called upon to separate from her communion. This message is the last that will ever be given to the world; and it will accomplish its work. When those that “believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:12), shall be left to receive strong delusion and to believe a lie, then the light of truth will shine upon all whose hearts are open to receive it, and all the children of the Lord that remain in Babylon will heed the call: “Come out of her, my people” (Revelation 18:4).  (Maranatha 173)
